Melissa prides herself on her sound legal knowledge, which forms the basis of her practical, sensible and down-to-earth advice. This knowledge translates into pragmatic solutions that are tailored to each individual client’s needs. Melissa’s greatest passion is to ensure that her clients feel comfortable, understand their matter, and are empowered to make informed choices about their legal issues.
Melissa was admitted to legal practice in October 2018. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Monash University in 2018 and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law shortly thereafter.
Prior to commencing at Elvin Lawyers in 2020, Melissa gained a wealth of experience practicing in commercial and business law. Before admission, she spent time at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency in Darwin, where she assisted Indigenous clients across a wide range of critical matters.
In her spare time, Melissa is a self-confessed sports fanatic and is an avid AFL supporter and hockey player. During non-COVID times, she regularly attends live music and comedy events with friends and family.
